The host country of the XV World Forestry Congress (WFC) has announced new dates for the Congress, which will be held from 2 to 6 May 2022 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The WFC is the largest gathering of forestry stakeholders which takes places about every 6 years, and offers an opportunity to a broad range of stakeholders to build a vision for forests for the future, share information and experience on scientific, technical and policy matters, exchange ideas and seek common solutions.
The call for abstracts and side event proposals for the XV World Forestry Congress has been reopened, and the WFC Secretariat invites authors working in the forestry and land use sectors to submit new abstracts for papers, posters and videos as well as new proposals for side events which are relevant to the Congress theme Building a Green, Healthy and Resilient Future with Forests.
The submissions platform will be open until 30 June 2021 for abstracts for papers and posters, to 3 September 2021 for videos, and until 30 July 2021 for side events.
